Who they are

RaboBank is a major Dutch bank, providing a wide range of financial services to customers worldwide.

What they wanted

RaboBank aimed to enhance their online banking services and customer experience. They wanted to modernize their web applications, improve performance, and ensure high security and compliance standards.

What we did

During our engagement with RaboBank, we focused on developing a new mortgages tool for their online banking platform. This tool allowed customers to easily apply for and manage their mortgages online. We used AngularJS for the front-end development and Node.js for the back-end services while we awaited the formal backend implementation in java. Our team collaborated closely with RaboBank's internal developers, following Agile methodologies and best practices.

Concretely, I worked on developing the front-end of the mortgages tool, ensuring a seamless user experience. I also contributed to setting up the CI/CD pipeline and migrating the infrastructure to AWS. Additionally, I provided mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
