Who they are

ANWB is the Netherlands' biggest automobile society, offering insurance, roadside assistance, and travel services to millions of members.

What they wanted

ANWB aimed to enhance their digital services for the insurance department. They wanted to modernize their web applications, and allow their users to manage their insurance through a general ANWB my environment.

What we did

During our engagement with ANWB we created the first " my" environment for ANWB insurance where users can see their policies, claims and work through them where previously this was all done over the phone. We mostly focussed on the Java middleware connecting their partner (Unigarant) with the front-end through Apigee. We also worked on the front-end to make sure the user experience was top-notch. The entire stack was managed over Jenkins on baremetal servers which later moved to the cloud. We also were part of the SSO track ensuring ANWB clients had a seamless experience across the various ANWB services and companies, unifying them all under the general ANWB account.
